We want this to be yours!
Community involvement means a lot to us. Yes, this is a research reserve (as our name describes) but it's also a space meant to be walked and talked about. We offer a network of public trails, community gardens, public education programming and are soon to have a century old building restored and renovated into a community meeting space (great for events, weddings, lectures, presentations etc). Our hope is that through community involvement we can make this a special place - a sanctuary for all members of the communtiy to connect with, interact with and cherish.
“We no longer doubt that there is a global problem in our environment; so we all need local efforts that we can act on today. Large green spaces are important today and even more so in the future.” – David Buckland, UK photographer, designer and filmmaker; rare International Ambassador
It is essential this landscape remains intact, in perpetuity. Keeping it safe leads directly to the health and well-being of this community and acts as a model for others to do the same. To get involved visit our donate page, our volunteer section, walk our trails or come out to one of our public events!
